Note

I know Stanford's CE department receives a lot of applications but that's why we submit them early, to give them enough time to process. To the poster below, I too submitted weeks before December deadline and still no response. I know of someone who applied after me and got accepted. If the remaining applications are indeed in the reject pile, I don't see what's so hard to issue a generic letter saying that. But what do I know? I just think it's a bit torturous having us wait 4+ months for bad news.
