Note

Informal decision given in email after I asked them about my status. Since I'm doing linguistics, studying in a dept where there's no current ling student would be awful. Like my prof said, Slavic ling in the States is collapsing. Definitely recommend that those studying Slavic Ling check out general ling dept. The Slavic dept with good ling program are Ohio State, Indiana,Kansas and that's it.
