Note

Welcome packet came via USPS with letter dated 2/5. Full tuition + 31.2k stipend + 1.5k moving stipend. Interviewed in January. Non math/stat degree from a medium-ranked state university (GPA 3.67) with MS biostat + MPH epi (combined GPA 4.0) from a Top 5 program. 2 biostat internships and 4 very strong LOR (3 from full biostat profs with whom I've worked closely, 1 from internship supervisor/coauthor). Excellent research fit. Several posters and 1 applied pub with 2-3 more (including a 1st author) in the works.
