Wait listed after interview weekend, then rejected. During the admissions season, I sent an email inquiring about my status on the wait list, and I received a nasty email from one of the professors "accidentally" that was meant to go to the graduate director. Despite the fact that she was not on the admissions committee, she felt strongly enough to tell Rubinson that she was "less than enthusiastic" about my application. Gee, thanks. So professional! I am so glad that I got a funded position somewhere else!
