Note

Emailed to inquire if invites had been sent out for BEES. Had to contact the Chair since the BISI office wouldn't answer my emails or phone calls. Said they ranked 90+ applicants and only invited the top ones. I obviously wasn't one. -Bachelors 3.2 GPA (small woman's college) + Masters 3.8 GPA (medium state university), average GRE, 3 first author publications in mid-level journals, 3 great LOR, 2 years additional research experience + 1 year teaching lab at top university
