- Second conversation with the same professor who I spoke to last time (Theory). Reason for the call was to talk about future plans and funding. Wanted to find out if I would be able to join them this year or not (have plans to defer by a year) and where Berkeley was in my preference list of schools. Turns out admits can be deferred but not fellowship offers and the internal situation with funding is complicated. Am optimistic about an admit :)
