Long Island University -LIU BrooklynSpeech Language Pathology, Masters (F13)Accepted via E-mail on 3 Jun 2013 A3 Jun 2013
  • I had an interview super late in April. I was wait listed (it was posted online) then was emailed the fall 2013 class was closed so I was accepted for spring 2014. Another poster said they were offered admission for fall 2014, which leads to believe they are so late because they are admitting for the next semester. T

Mid-March I emailed the ECU to check the status of my application and received no reply. It was not until May that they notified me of my obvious rejection. It took that long? Absolutely ridiculous.

UC RiversideElectrical Engineering, VLSI, PhD (F13)Accepted via E-mail on 2 Jun 2013 A2 Jun 2013
  • To the UCR poster below. The professor doesn't have the full power to get someone in. They can only recommend you and the rest is in hands of the Dean of engineering, especially when you're requesting funding too. The POI I talked to told me in an interview. I got in when he recommended me with no funding for the first year. UC system doesn't have much money.

  • I was already working with a professor from UCR. He said to me that I was accepted, but 1 week later I received a mail saying that I wasn't accepted for PhD. This school is terrible, you can't make someone work for you and after two months working reject him.
