I was stupid enough to forgot adding my MA degree in the application, so not quite surprised for being rejected.

Unofficial notification by Email. Nothing about $$$. But still very excited! First offer.

The program to which you applied indicated the following as the reason(s) that you were not selected for admission: No additional space available in the graduate program for this admissions cycle.

Five years of funding at approximately 2k/month with one quarter service free. Very excited!

Fully-funded college place

Part-time PhD/DPhil in Politics for Michaelmas 2026. Intl based in the UK. Decision took all 10 weeks to arrive (admissions website says 8-10 weeks). I submitted on the due date. No interview (not customary for DPhil for Politics/IR afaik). Corresponded with a prospective supervisor. Double masters (Ivy and Oxbridge; 4.0 and Distinction) but unrelated to Politics/IR (prospective supervisor stated/cautioned how a relevant masters degree is something they’d like prospective students to have alongside research competencies). Final cycle recap: 1a/1r.

Got an email around 5:20 PM EST!!
