Classics, University Of Cincinnati direct communication from department, except the email i received said that the dept rarely accepts terminal MA students. i didn't apply for a terminal MA, i applied for a PhD so I'm confused lol. it was a rejection regardles.

Earth And Planetary Sciences, University Of Hawaii At Manoa This University didn't even care to send any sort of communication whatsoever!!!! No rejection letter, waitlist notification.... Nothing!! and it costs $100 #### dollars.. Thank God, I am not going to the US and already have an offer from an European university accepted.

Robotics, Purdue University Admitted due to extracurriculars, not because of academics. The decision came out WEEKS after when they previously told me. Unfortunately, the admissions letter said that Fellowships, RA/TAships, and any sort of "school sponsored funding" is not available/allowed for this program- nowhere on the program site or the application process did they mention it. Disappointed in the timing and lack of communication on their part, especially with something as crucial as funding.

Marriage And Family Therapy (Counseling MFCC Program), San Francisco State University No communication since day of application. SFGateway Application Status was stuck at 19 Jan, 2024. Today, i.e. on 10th April, it updated to denied. Expected the result since accepted and waitlisted candidates have updated on reddit and grad cafe. Have been accepted in 3 other universities, so no regrets. TBH a little glad that this is finally over. I am going to grad school!

Musicology, Duke University Note that my application was competitive, but Duke was only able to admit two students into the program this year. Does this mean I was on the waitlist? This is the first communication I have had from the program.
