  • As expected, still sad enough. I wish nothing but the best for those who are admitted into Stanford. 1 acceptance (Cornell Econ) / 4 Rejections (MIT Econ, Stanford Econ, Stanford GSB,Yale Econ) / 1 Implicit Rejection (Chicago Econ)/6 TBD. My potential research interests are in Labour Economics and Development Economics. Did my undergrad at UBC (With Honors in Econ and minor in Math) GPA92, RAed for a prof (8 months) during my junior year, took two graduate courses during my senior year. I think a master's degree may do a great help to those who aim high.

  • Did anyone else notice their rejection letter was outside the margins? Stanford University, you're better than that display of effort. Is it possible to reject a rejection letter?

  • Expected....It's unbelievable how the university contacted me to apply to the program, but has the audacity to decline admissions. These universities are playing the number game to make their university seem highly selective. More applicants mean more rejections, more rejections mean lower acceptance rate. This week I have been receiving all rejection letters....thanks.

  • To the Temple post below. How did you hear back from them? I still have not received a decision. Have I been wait-listed or is it an implicit rejection?

  • Was put on the waitlist for funding. If people have better options, please decline your offers here. This is a top choice for me because of their sports economics focus.
