Computer Science, University Of California, San Diego Ignore the status!! Did anyone hear from them???? I don't know what are they doing????? It's past April 15, and they do not send any admits nor any waitlists nor any rejections!!!! What are they thinking actually?? Does anyone know what's going on at UCSD CS department ???

Computer Science, University Of California, San Diego I was hoping that good news would come from all the waiting. However, I could not have been more wrong, and it blows; UCSD is my dream school. Moreover, I am a recently separated US Navy veteran who worked in cryptology for close to 4 years. I have no published papers and did not go to a top university; however, I had three strong letters of recommendation, a strong SOP, a solid GPA, immense drive, dedication, and proven work experience, which I hoped would lead to acceptance. But, in the end, it wasn't enough. (Although I am very happy for all those who were accepted and hope all the hard work pays off!) P.S. While looking over the UCSD website and after contacting them about the university's demographics out of pure curiosity, I am unsure if they actually consider and or accept veterans. Additionally, when I asked how many actual veterans (those who served, not family members) attend, they said they do not have the information to give. So, if you're a veteran and find yourself curious about the inclusivity of this university, keep this in mind: you might not be as important of a consideration as others, and apparently, you have to be okay with it.

Data Science, University Of California, San Diego PhD in chemistry, self taught coding, 1 year of postdoc + 2 years of working experience data related. Strong letters of rec. What's even funnier is I got my PhD from UCSD lol

Materials Science And Engineering, University Of Washington Got a rej from the program coordinator, said they cannot offer me admission but I can be considered to enroll in the master's program. No, definitely no, i already got my master's degree from UCSD.

Political Science, University Of California, San Diego GPA is grad. Master's from UCSD's GPS. Three years of post-grad research experience. Doesn't seem to be a short list. It's a long shot anyway.

Computer Science, University Of California, San Diego The UCSD portal changed to show admitted students' information last night, and the official letter was updated this morning. I applied to many more MS CS, so I hope they'll all get back soon.

Data Science, University Of California, San Diego International. 3-year Stas degree from Australia (UCSD requires 4-year degrees but says they will consider 3-year degrees on a case-by-case basis, which is quite frustrating to me). 1+ year work exp as data scientist for a big company. 1 conference paper. Decent projects and LoRs. Congrats to all those who got in and good luck to those still waiting for results.
