GPA is Masters. GEEZ what a late response! But oh well... Got into one of my preferred programs anyway. 2a/0w/17r/1p

Have been on the waitlist for a while. Has anyone heard anything back from them?

GPA is grad. I had emailed the English department grad coordinator again to follow up on being waitlisted and what the process looks like. They did not really say that but I was informed that the waitlist is quite long and that if I have an offer from somewhere else it is better to accept that. Just letting those who are on the waitlist know so in case you already have a good offer, you should take it. Seems like it’s gonna be hard to get off the waitlist.

I emailed asking when I could expect a decision and they replied that they are negotiating with the admitted candidates but that I am on the waitlist. Has anyone gotten an official rejection from UMD English? I'm not sure if being on the waitlist means anything or if it's just everyone who applied and wasn't initially accepted.

GPA is masters. Emailed the Graduate studies office to ask about the status of my application and was told that I am on the waitlist. If you are planning not to go to UMD, please let them know as soon as you can!

I started reaching out to the remaining schools I have left and the dg emailed that I was on the waitlist and then proceeded to ask if I wanted to stay on the waitlist (of course I said yes).

I emailed them for an update and got a response saying they were in negotiations with selected candidates and I was on the waitlist. This program is my top choice and this is the only glimmer of hope I've gotten this cycle, pllleeassseeee let me in. After three rejections and everything circulating online about funding and programs rescinding offers I'm really starting to be convinced this is my only shot

3.95 MA GPA. I emailed about admission decision timeline and received an email back stating that I am on the waitlist. This is my first bit of good news after a grueling cycle, soooooo please please please let me in I'll be so worth it I swear! 0a/0i/1w/10r/11p
