Graduate School Admission Results

Had an interview on 11th March. Email was sent on April 2, but the email went to spam.

Canadian applicant, notified via email that I had a message in my portal. I applied back in late February. I completed my undergrad in environmental science at UofT and was honestly expecting a rejection due to a lack of fundamental engineering courses. I likely won't be accepting this, though, as there is no guaranteed internship/co-op like there are at Calgary and UBC which I have also applied to. Furthermore, I wasn't using my brain at the time of application but the petroleum industry is on its way out, so it probably isn't a great prospect for the future. Cool that I got accepted though.

I received the email in 25th June 2021 to announce the candidate to be choosed without other informations, even I am not the one, I still feel so thankful to this opportunity, Hope everyone can find the most suitable position for yourself, and always believe it is the best plan of your fate, never lose hope no matter what happens.

To other applicants who are on Princeton Engineering's waitlist - did you receive a zoom invite to their discussion about first-year grad school experience? The email said "congratulations on your admission to grad school" which was super confusing. Is this just their courtesy move to invite the wl people as well? Good luck to everyone out there waiting!

No funding

The project I applied is preferred start no later than 30.04.2021, so I can not wait for a long time, I just wrote an email to the professor last week and he replied me yesterday, he said that they are still evaluating the applications and they will decide it soon. So please don't worry if you also see my messages here, just be patient and give the God enough time to make your dreams come true, hope all you can get the most suitable project.

The deadline of the project I applied is 16 Jan, I haven't get any news from it, I wonder to know if anyone get any interviews from UIO

Anybody heard from the department committee.. please, share!
