Had an interview with admission committees on 12/12—a generic rejection email from admission committees on 1/24. One co-first ACS paper and one co-author review paper. Three-year research including a year research internship at one of the top public schools in the US.

2 years research, 1 year teacher lab assistant, 0.5 year chem tutoring, 1 poster presentation. Their email stated that I was qualified to be accepted, but they didn’t have enough room for me with them trying to lower their acceptances this year

Avoid Michigan Chemistry if you can. Ask loooots of questions on your upcoming visit weekends! The grad students have lots to share.

Haven't received a decision, yet most people I know have either been accepted or rejected by now. Anyone else in the same boat?

Notified via email from Department Chair. 1.5 years undergraduate research, 2.5 years industry research, and 1 second-author publication.

Organic track. I got an email to check the portal. 3 years + 1 summer of organic research, 1 national ACS conference, but no publications. Good luck to everyone!

Stated that there were too many applicants this year for the number of accepting research PI’s.

Rejection letter in the mail. 2 pubs(1st author), 1 published, 1 under review; 2 manuscripts in preparation. 1 poster presentation.
