MS GPA: 3.92/4 from R1 university in the US, 2 publications (Q1), 2 journal manuscripts (under review), reviewer for 2 journals (Elsevier and ACM), no interview

3 Publications (2 SPIE, 1 AIAA student conference), No Interview

The labs said they had a LOT of funding issues this year. I am of course disappointed as I thought I was a good fit, but this is your sign to not get discouraged - hopefully the funding issues are better next cycle. Congrats to those that got in and stay optimistic to those who did not :) nothing can stand between you and what you are meant to do

Anyone have experience? Any timeline after being waitlisted? What should I do now?

I was waitlisted on 21st Feb. on 8th April, I was notified by NSF that my fellowship application was approved. Had informed the same to MIT. This morning, MIT sent me acceptance letter.
