Graduate School Admission Results

Canadian student accepted with the specialization of Environment and Sustainability. No funding/scholarship.

I got accepted to International and Development Studies in Geneva Graduate Institute with specialization of Sustainable Trade and Finance. I also got full scholarship.

Fully funded for four years. Grad GPA: 3.7. One pending publication. Background in Gender Studies (undergrad) and Public Policy (Grad). One year of work with an international organization in a field closely related to my thesis project. Several internships with smaller NGOs. Two research assistantships.

Received an admission last year but postponed my studies because of the pandemic. I expect an offer in the coming weeks, but the current outcome shows how competitive admissions were this year.

Student from EU, undergraduate in the UK. Two internships related to a low-income, fragile state in an embassy and a Swiss NGO. Pristine recommendation letters and academic record with a university prize for outstanding academic achievement. Decent motivation letter referring to a desire to build a career in the UN/WHO. Pending publication.

No FA, will probably decline

Business background from a top US public school. Strong letters of rec.

Background in International Affairs (with a fair amount of math coursework: Calculus, Linear Algebra, Real Analysis). Seems like IHEID saw my IR degree as a positive aspect of my application, as opposed to the other schools that didn't accept me.

First-class first in my undergrad and have an MA too. Accepted but no funding. Will most likely have to decline. This was my dream school and program but I cannot afford it.

No funding, not sure whether 'cause I uploaded a bank statement suggesting deposit that exceeds the tuition fee. Will go to Cambridge instead, really like the program tho

My GPA is slightly higher than the average, but I got a full scholarship package, probably thanks to the strong letters of recommendation and a catchy personal statement.

The worst school ever. as some others below, first notification of offer via email and then rejected on their webpage. Also had some minor troubles throughout admission procedure. Got an email of apology from school's director later on, but perspective students gotta be aware of the fact that the institute's administration seriously undermines its academic reputation.
