Graduate School Admission Results

My portal still says pending, but I emailed the director of admissions for the program to notify them that I will be attending a different program. I hope this helps others who are still waiting to hear!

Other: 4/3/21 Declined my offer from 2/26/21 to OSU due to no funding. I received funding from 2 other Ohio schools.

Will most likely be declining due to late acceptance/communication and lack of funding from program.

Got an email from the department. Waiting on a second email from the graduate school. No word on funding.

To the poster below, I emailed the department the other day and got a very generic response with a link to their website and they said that they guess that they will send out decisions within the next several weeks and insinuated that this should be fine since programs have a deadline of April 15th (but this is the only program I need to hear back from still so very annoying!). Judging from last years this does not seem to be a great program to get updates from but I'm very happy with the acceptances I've received so far and will probably not consider OSU as an option if I do not hear back within mid March

Not an interview, but to the poster below wondering about OSU, I have also not heard anything and I didn't even know they did interviews until I saw the posts on here. My portal also still says "pending." I have read through the past years' form posts and it seems like OSU doesn't notify people who were waitlisted or rejected until late march/early April (which is actually really disappointing, especially if people are waiting to hear back before making a decision). At this point, I'm considering other offers and have given up on OSU because there has been absolutely ZERO notification since I submitted my application. It was also the most expensive application, so I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of communication.

Has anyone not heard from Ohio State yet? I saw people getting accepted in January but my applicant center portal still says pending. I'm guessing that means I'm either waitlisted or rejected but at this point I just want to know! (**I didn't get an interview)

To the poster below - thanks for sharing with us. Has anybody else gotten a similar response? I've emailed 3 different people and have yet to hear back. Has anybody actually been waitlisted?

Last I heard was that decisions should be coming out in mid march, I'm hoping it's soon!

I have yet to hear anything from OSU. The application status on my account still says pending too.

No mention of funding.

Just received an email saying I am accepted off of the waitlist and they are mailing me an official letter. No other information was given. I need to give them an answer by April 19 (3 days). I've already been accepted to 3 other schools and I've committed to 1. Not sure what to do since this was my top choice originally.
